TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
Course Outline:
This course will provide an overview of the key components of TPM while providing more in-depth, hands-on practice in the templates, formulas and visual tools used to practice TPM. The emphasis will be to provide an overall familiarity with TPM and more in-depth understanding of key topics such as:
- The benefits of TPM
- Various types of maintenance
- Establishing Autonomous Maintenance routines
- The use of blue tags
- The 6 Big Losses
- OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) calculation
- Tools to reduce losses
- MTBF (mean time between failures)
- MTTR (mean time to repair)
- Developing worker maintenance mindset through one-point lessons
